Why Volunteer
Make a direct difference at the grassroots
Voice of World has been serving vulnerable communities since 1992. As a volunteer, you work directly alongside our team — teaching, caring, organising, creating — and witness first-hand the impact of your contribution.
We welcome volunteers from all walks of life, at any skill level. Here are some of the ways you can help:
- Teaching & tutoring (Braille, computers, arts)
- Medical outreach & eye-camp support
- Event & cultural programme organisation
- Documentation, content & communications
- Fundraising & donor relations
- Remote / online support
- General support & community care
International Volunteers
We warmly welcome volunteers from outside India. We can provide a welcome letter for visa applications (volunteer/student visa) and help you settle in Kolkata. Accommodation guidance available on request.
Please apply at least 4 weeks in advance so we can coordinate your visit.
