VOW Facilitates Free Assistive Equipment Distribution Camp

Voice of World served as a facilitator at a three-day free assistive equipment distribution camp organised by the Department of Social Welfare (DSW), South 24 Parganas, held at Amtala Sammilita Auditorium. The camp provided mobility aids, visual aids, and other assistive devices to persons with disabilities from across the district — a significant step in improving access and independence for those who need it most.

1st All Bengal School Chess Tournament for Visually Challenged — A Historic First

Voice of World made history on Saturday, hosting the 1st All Bengal School Chess Tournament for the Visually Challenged 2026 at its own auditorium in Aaspriha Bhavan. Co-organised with the All Bengal Braille Chess Association (ABBCA), the tournament brought together 49 young chess players from 8 special and inclusive schools across West Bengal.

Played in a 5-round Swiss League format, the competition saw participants display remarkable focus, intelligence, and competitive spirit.
