Nicwon Drama Workshop '26 Featured in Aajkal

Voice of World's theatre group Nicwon received major media coverage as their Drama Training Workshop '26 was featured in the Bengali daily Aajkal (dated Tuesday, 7 July 2026). The one-day workshop was held at Nicwon's main centre at Bali Durgapur, where children received intensive drama training from noted theatre personalities Vedant Bandyopadhyay and Bahishikha Bandyopadhyay. After a full day of training, the children staged a play. Distinguished guests Supriya Datta and Debonath Chattopadhyay also attended and guided the students. The event was coordinated by Nicwon Secretary Partha Nag.

Programme at Aaspriha Bhavan in Partnership with Hyundai

A formal programme was held on Tuesday, 7 July at Voice of World Inclusive Education Centre, Aaspriha Bhavan, Behala, in association with Hyundai. The event featured a traditional lamp-lighting inauguration ceremony with dignitaries in attendance. Students and community members participated actively. More than 40 photographs from the day were shared by members, capturing the warm and energetic atmosphere of the gathering.

A YouTube video capturing highlights of the Nicwon Drama Workshop '26 was shared with the group on Wednesday. The video documents the full-day theatre training programme and the student performances, serving as a lasting record of this annual initiative by Voice of World's performing arts wing.

Strings & Beats — Baithaki Classical Music Evening

Lead Kindly Light (Voice of World's charitable trust) presents Strings & Beats, a Baithaki Classical Music Evening — a charitable concert for blind and underprivileged children. The event is a heartfelt tribute honouring the timeless legacy of legendary musicians Pt. Shyamal Bose and Pt. Kamal Bose, and will feature an inauguration programme by students of Voice of World.

Performers: Pt. Debasish Bhattacharya (Guitar), Srou Abhisek Lahiri (Sarod), Aditi Chatterjee (Vocal), Prithwiraj Dutta (Tabla Solo).
